New pattern release: Uraidla Shawl

It’s been a little while since I’ve checked in with you all, but today I have some very exciting news as I’ve just released my newest pattern! Introducing…the Uraidla Shawl!

I have to say I’m pretty smitten with this shawl, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! I named the shawl after a small town in the hills near where I live – on Sundays we used to drive there for the market, and I have such fond memories of all the wonderful handcrafts and local produce that were on offer. Why not knit a Uraidla shawl to take on your favourite adventures, near and far? Enjoy easy and intuitive lace, a super versatile shape to wear, and oh, that fun bobble border! 🙂

There are so many different cozy ways to style the shawl, but I think this might be my favourite!

I used O-Wool O-Wash Fingering in the Pasture Rose colourway for my version, and I’ve fallen head over heels in love with this yarn. You’re probably familiar with O-Wool and their amazing ethos, but if not, their focus is to create organic and environmentally responsible yarns. Now there’s some guilt-free stash enhancement! I can say from experience that this yarn is amazing – it’s so soft and yet somehow also sturdy, knits up beautifully, and the colourways available are just stunning! As an added bonus, O-Wash Fingering is available in a 25g mini skein option, which is just enough for the bobble border if you’d like to experiment with adding a contrast colour!

So have fun with your Uraidla Shawl projects, and let me know if you’re planning on making one! Happy knitting, and I hope you’re all having a lovely week xx

You can enjoy a special 20% off the pattern for a limited time only – just enter the coupon code MARKETDAY when checking out on Ravelry! (expires midnight 23/4 Adelaide time)
